Read the record behind an offer
Use the public record that matches your question about compounding, the care team, a pharmacy or a reported problem.
Each record answers a different question
For a proposed plan, ask for the evidence for the exact product and intended use. Ask what the evidence actually shows and what it leaves unanswered about the proposed treatment.
- An approval record shows which product and use were reviewed.
- Rules on making medicines tell you when a pharmacy may do it. They do not tell you whether a treatment works well.
- A licence search records a licence; it is not a care rating.
- A report notes a problem during medicine use, without establishing that the medicine was responsible.

Bring the missing piece back to the conversation
A useful follow-up is narrow: “Does this evidence apply to my condition, this product and this way of using it?”
- Ask which finding matters for the proposed plan.
- Ask what is still uncertain.
- What would make you rethink this plan?
